Mackillop family services commission

 This installation was commissioned by MacKillop Family Services for their Heritage Display Area. This work is a collaboration between glass artist Ede Horton and myself. The eight caste glass babies in coolamons represent the 60,000 years of happy and healthy Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families prior to colonisation. The work also speak of the 8 orphanages in Victoria which housed Aboriginal children. John Challis of Challis designs created the cabinet for this installation.
